Skin care advice – help and advice on refining your skin type
I am Beatrix Lied, a skincare expert thanks to my work at the University Dermatology Clinic in Hamburg and decades of studying many premium brands in my own cosmetics institute.
With my skincare concept, I take a different, unique approach – reducing the use of many cosmetic products. I also tailor my consultations to the climate. This results in a skincare concept that keeps your skin healthy and radiant. Of course, my skincare products are equally ideal for women and men.
As my professional focus has not only been on skin care, but I have also been interested in the psychosocial element for decades, I love to provide comprehensive coaching on topics such as style, type, colour choice, manners and interior design. My services are available to both end consumers and professionals.
MY LIFE – MY PROFESSIONAL LIFE
My path
From an early age, I combined my interest in medicine, aesthetics and structure with a desire to help people.
After training as a make-up artist, I worked at the University Dermatology Clinic in Hamburg and opened my own beauty salon in 1978, focusing on medical and creative aspects.
A new perspective on colour
With a critical mind, I developed a coordinate system that takes into account the individual pigmentation of each person – regardless of the old seasonal types.
For this, I received teaching assignments at the University of Hamburg (Department of Chemistry) and wrote a book on colour and image consulting.
Sharing knowledge: lectures and TV appearances
From 2000 onwards, I ran an internationally recognised school for hair and make-up artists. The training was recognised by BAföG and subsidised by the employment office.
Industry, media and TV also repeatedly drew on my expertise.
My own premium cosmetics line
In 2002, I realised my vision of establishing my own cosmetics line under my initials. After several successful years, the coronavirus pandemic unfortunately led me into insolvency.
Losing my life's work at an advanced age shook me quite deeply. What remains? To revive my old paths and concentrate on what has always been my professional life: helping, advising, teaching and producing products based on my ideas.
Skin care advice
‘More care’ does not automatically mean ‘better care’. I focus on targeted, simple concepts that strengthen the skin without overburdening it.

Coach for individual type refinement
‘From the outside in – from the inside out’ is how style and taste are created. What we see is the outer layer of the core and is inevitably judged when we look at each other.
I can advise you on the following topics:
- Style from hairstyle to shoes
- Attitude and impact
- Choose colours consciously
The basis for this is the nine-point coordinate system I developed. When recommending colours, this system takes into account all the nuances of your pigmentation and combines them with your personality, occasion and social environment.
I also train professionals who want to learn how to advise people in a manner that is appropriate to their type and style.
I was awarded the ‘Golden Mask’ for my system.
